Tatyana Fedorovna Pavlenko was born in 1946 in town of Polotsk, Vitebsk region, Belorussia, in the family of military servant. She received higher education and worked in educational system in town of Zaporozhe. At present she is a pensioner and resides in the village of Kamenskoe, Vasilievsky district, Zaporozhe region.

NNow, after the twenty years of my passion of straw I can tell with certainty that everything in my destiny was predetermined from on high and was not a pure chance. Not by chance – a place of birth - (the Republic of) Belarus, where there a lot of fine craftsmen working with straw, not by chance visiting the exhibition of arts and crafts I saw for the first time works from straw made by a teacher from Melitopol and the same day I found some straw and pasted my first picture.
     In the course of time, after my family have moved to the village of Kamenskoe, Vasilievsky district I planted on a large lot of land some cereal and fit out the artist’s studio.
     So in my collection appeared napkins and towels on sacking, ornamental sunflower seeds and semi dimensional painting canvases.
     There were also lots of sketches with the inexhaustible themes in my work, as the nature itself is. Any floweret, leaflet may underlie napkin as well as towel and painting canvas, but …that day of 6 October 1991, the day of Igor Talkov murder turned over my whole life. Igor Talkov was ten years younger than me, he saw the life in a special way, he managed to notice the valuable, basic and essential for everyone main things, which I overlooked. As a Guardian Angel he converted me. I took all Igor’s words and songs very much to hurt. I took on christening and while visiting Moscow in Igor Talkov Memorial Day found myself anew, found new friends. A lot of them happened to become very close to me not suspecting this. A common strident string is clanging at my heart when I am listening to Igor Talkov, Alexander Michailov, Mikhail Nozhkin, Maxim Troshin, celibate priest Roman, mother Lyudmyla Kononova, Vladimir Volkov, Zhanna Bichevskaja.
     Good Lord may guard this true spring of Holy Russia!
